We have 3 lovely double rooms* above our pub.
The Tipsy Coo was originally a coaching inn, dating from the 1800s. This means bags of character but unfortunately no lift and some of our corridors are quite narrow.
We are pleased to welcome our wee guests in a travel cot and one of our rooms can be made up to accommodate 3 people in either a double and single bed or 3 single beds.
If you have any specific requirements, please just get in touch and we will do all we can to accommodate!
Don’t fancy packing your hair drier? Need an iron and ironing board to make sure you’re looking sharp before you head out? Just let us know and we will make sure everything is there for your arrival. Want to make your stay extra special? We can organise a lovely chilled bottle of fizz, some flowers or arrange a continental breakfast hamper for your room - just get in touch in advance and we can chat about how we can help.
Room facilities: ensuite shower room / travel cots (on request) / tea and coffee making facilities / tv / wifi / private off street parking,
Rates: Room only - £80 per room. Extra person £10. Travel cot free. Extras by arrangement/discussion when we know exactly what your requirements are.
If for any reason we are full on the dates you require, we can send you details of other accommodation providers in the area that might be able to meet your needs.
*gentle reminder - our rooms are directly above our bar so on the nights that things are livelier, there may be some noise*
Beer Garden: We have built a ramp so should be fully wheelchair and pram accessible. As we are on a residential street, to allow our lovely neighbours to have a peaceful rest, we would politely ask that the beer garden is vacated by 10pm. Everyone welcome to come inside until last orders :-0)
Parking: We have identified off street parking for residents, We would ask visitors to the Coo to park respectfully of our neighbours.
Children: We are very pleased to welcome children over 5 to the Tipsy Coo until 2030. Under 5s only if resident, as par the terms of our license.
Off Sales: The tipsy coo can offer alcohol for off sales between 11am and 10pm. Please ask staff for a price list
